Hey everyone!
This week was a great one! Elder Duke and I had great opportunities to teach some awesome lessons and see some great things!
The highlight of the week was definitely getting to teach Adolfo. He is somebody that Elder Duke and I stopped on the street and talked to a week ago. He is really having a rough time right now. He doesn't have a job and his wife is living in a nursing home. He lives in an apartment, but doesn't have the finances to turn on the electricity. When we stopped him he was on his way from his apartment (about 6 miles away) and he was walking to somewhere about another 2 miles away in the heat of the day. When we went by on Wednesday night to teach him, he made it a point to be there to hear our message. It wasn't until we got there that we realized we were a little ways out of our area. Actually, we were out of the stake. Since we were already there, we went ahead and taught him. He is such a humble guy and full of faith! It was great to get to teach him!
We also got to continue teaching Martha and James, and we are so excited about teaching them. They are so humble and faithful.
This week has been amazing, and we are looking forward to another great one! This Saturday is the baptism of Jade Rodriguez. She is a 13-year-old girl we have been teaching. It has been a blessing being able to teach her and her brothers. We are really looking forward to this week.
