Hello friends,

So this week has been great! The work is going great and I'm loving Rockwall more and more. Elder Lyman and I are working hard and it seems the work is picking up more and more. It's so true when people say that the harder you work the easier the work becomes. If that makes any sense?

So the funniest thing happened on this lady's doorstep the other day. Elder Lyman and myself were telling her about the restoration. She starts going off about how the founder of our church was an abomination and was just totally bad mouthing him, then she asks "oh what was his name again?" Elder Lyman with a perfectly straight face says "Oh, you mean Jesus Christ?" well that totally stopped her in her tracks and made her stop and think. Then she wasn't so nice to us anymore after that and basically, we got no-where, but GOODNESS, the look on her face when he told her Jesus Christ was the founder, it was priceless!

Anyways, all is well here, and I've been hearing a lot about the things that are going on in the outside world, and it's kind of scary, but for members of the church it's almost exciting! The bishop over our ward yesterday spoke on emergency preparedness and is going to institute an emergency communication plan where everybody has radios and in case of an emergency, everybody can be accounted for. We are definitely in the last days, and we can certainly look forward to the day when the Savior comes again!

Spiritual Highlight of the week:

This week, we have to do a little bit more finding than normal, and it was very evident when I tried to teach without the Spirit, it absolutely does not work! When we have the Spirit while teaching, everything goes perfect. It's amazing to be able to be used by the Lord in that way and to be able to see miracles even on people's doorsteps.
