Dear Brother and Sister Layton,

I am pleased to inform you that your son, Elder Riley James Layton has been called to serve as a Zone Leader in the Texas Dallas Mission. I believe that hi ability to lead by example and his willingness to serve others will be a great benefit to the mission and the Lord’s work.

This will be a great opportunity for him to develop his leadership and organizational skills. He will have the responsibility to give workshops and training to those in his Zone. He will still have a proselyting area and will be most effective as he shows by example how missionary work can be done.

Your faith and prayers in his behalf will be heard by our Father in Heaven and felt by your son and those he serves. We appreciate your support and sacrifices to allow him to serve here.
