Howdy Y'all.
What a wonderful weekend! Easter is always a great time to reflect on the
atonement of Jesus Christ. It is such a
miracle that our savior suffered for our sins, he paid the price, and because
of him we can be saved! I truly have a
testimony of the atonement, not only of the power to be forgiven but the
physical effects of our sins, atonement. Some days I get tired, sore, grumpy, etc. but
as I pray to the Lord for strength he gives me the energy I need to devote
myself to him. He broke the bands of
death that we all may live again. He is our
Lord and our Savior. His atonement is infinite;
it has no limitations, no end. I am
grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who has given us this time on earth to
gain a body and learn and grow, and for the gift of his only begotten son.
One quick miracle, Saturday night we were fixin' to lie down
to bed, and we got a text from an unknown number. It was someone named Randy Martin asking what
time church started. He is a less-active
member and decided that he wanted to come to church and bring his nonmember fiancée.
Her name is ShaMonica. I am grateful that when we are obedient the Lord
adds people to our teaching pool.
Looking forward to a great week!
