Dear everybody,
This week has been an amazing, and very spiritual one! I am going to just skip basically the whole week and go straight to Saturday. Elder Oaks came and spoke to the mission. It was something else being able to sit at the feet of an Apostle of the Lord and hear him speak. I had so many questions and prayers answered just by listening to him speak to us! Along with Elder Oaks, we listened to President Rasband of the presidency of the 70, Elder Flukiger an Area 70 and President and Sister Smith. The whole day was just jam packed with the spirit! Then yesterday, in the Heath Ward, we had two investigators come to church, Charlie and Sherri. Charlie got up and bore his testimony and it was such an amazing experience. They also brought with them a friend that has been Catholic her whole life, but within about 10 minutes of testimony meeting starting started bawling. At the end of the third hour, she was so excited that she had found the true church! She called one of her Mormon friends and told him that she was converted and wanted to know how to join the church. Luckily for her we happened to be standing right there within earshot of the whole thing. It is amazing how strong the spirit can be inside the Lord's true church even without any kool-aid (sometimes I worry about that). Anyways, I love working here and I am loving every minute of this experience. I cannot believe it is May already; time is going way too fast!
