Howdy y'all!

Another week flies by and the Lord's work is rolling forward.  We have been working hard to try and keep up.  It is always a very powerful experience when an investigator tells you he/she has received a witness that the things we teach are true.  We were visiting with the Strickland family and when we asked her how her reading has been going, she told us she knew now that it is true. The Book of Mormon is not fiction, it is real!

As missionaries, we memorize the first vision of the prophet Joseph Smith.  The wonderful experience when Joseph Smith saw our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We were teaching Kimberlynn Schumaker on Tuesday, and as I recited the first vision, I felt such a powerful peaceful feeling. Sometimes it is hard to tell if those you are teaching are feeling the Holy Ghost the same way you are, but when I looked at her and saw the tears in her eyes, I knew she felt it too.  Joseph Smith truly did see our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and that knowledge is one that blesses our lives so much!

On Thursday we had an appointment with Randall Saddler.  The lesson went well and afterwards we figured we would drop by Myosha Johnson to see how she was doing.  When we went by she was in the process of teaching her next door neighbor (Sherrica Selestine) the plan of salvation using the pamphlet we had given her.  She hadn't gotten to what happens after our life on earth yet, and Myosha told us to teach it to her.  We WERE planning on going tracting at that time, but we figured it was a more effective use of time.  So we taught her the plan of salvation and answered questions she had.  Sherrica came to church and wants to be baptized in April.

My testimony has grown this week in knowing that sharing the gospel strengthens our own testimonies and brings us happiness as our friends come to the gospel.  Not only in my own efforts, but seeing Myosha's testimony grow and progress as she shares her joy with others.

This church is true.
