Hey Everybody!

This week we got to meet President and Sister Durrant, that was for sure the highlight of the week! What an incredible family! The Smiths will be missed, but I could not have asked for a better replacement. I am excited to serve with them.
Other than that, the week went by way fast! For some reason, ever since we have been on a bike, the time flies so much faster! The great news is, Elder Boynton and I are finding blessings around every corner. We found this lady named Janet this week, she says she is not sure if she believes in God, but would like to. We promised her that as she reads and prays about The Book of Mormon she will gain a sure knowledge of God's existence and of his love for us. The highlight of the week was most likely the Howell family. We went to the temple with the Howells and shared with them the importance of the covenants we make in the temples. They seemed to really enjoy it and feel the presence of the spirit as we went into the lobby. They are still preparing to be baptized on July 24th. John promised his step father that he would go to a bible church for 4 Sundays before he got baptized a Mormon, so that is all they are waiting on. We are really excited for them, and we have seen them come a long way.

Today is the Fourth of July and I hope y'all remember the significance of a free country that was prepared by Heavenly Father for the restoration of the gospel. It is because of the wonderful and definitely inspired men that wrote the constitution that we can enjoy the blessings of freedom of religion. I am proud to be an American and am grateful for the blessing it is to be a Mormon.
